Other Online Security
This website uses industry best security practices and industry best web design to help prevent phishing and other types of hacking attempts. Our website and web server uses hardware and software firewalls as well as other types of security technology to help shield against phishing and other types of hacking attempts. We also use a web security technology with our website called SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). All webmail sent to us from our website's "Contact" page will always be encrypted during transit to ensure the security and privacy of the information that our clients send to us. We also use SSL and / or TLS (Transport Layer Security) for encrypting both our incoming and outgoing business emails during transit. In addition, we also use 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) with all of our business email accounts for even better email security, better PII data security and to further ensure the security and privacy of all of our policyholders' private information. 2FA, also called MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), is an extra security layer that we use to ensure that some other third-party, like a cybercriminal, cannot easily obtain unauthorized access to one of our business email accounts in the event an email account password were to ever be compromised.
We keep email addresses that you provide to us. If you choose to provide us with an email address, we will keep your email address on file. If you agree to receive email messages from us, we will keep the email address that you give to us to send you periodic emails that may be of specific interest to you. Please be careful about the information that you send to us in any email because your communication may not be secure. Like, for example, in public Wi-Fi or if you aren't using either SSL or TLS to encrypt the emails that you send to us. Be aware that we do train our employees in cybersecurity / cyberhygiene best practices and they will automatically delete any incoming emails that contain any PII once the email has been read.
